Wow, I am sooooo behind of blogging, but I'm back now. I hope you had a fantastic holiday season with loved ones and were able to relax and enjoy all the festivities that tag along with Christmas and the new year.
This year, I really want to focus more on finding the beauty in the mundane moments of life. As time goes on, I've realized that life can be so exquisitely stunning. There is just so much joy and laughter that gets to be shared and yet at the same time, life isn't always easy. There is always stress and worry. There is always doubt and fear and as human we face a lot of sadness and hurt. That's why it's so crucial to cherish the fun times because those times lift up our spirits and teach us how to be thankful for the time that we are given. So many people say they want to live with no regrets. That's pretty much what I tell myself too, but some days I just have to think: "How do I truly live with no regrets?" And I think one way to accomplish that is by simply being thankful for the beautiful moments of my day. When there's gratitude, there's no need for scheming how to get ahead in life, and greed is the thing that often leads to regret and deep disappointment.
So this year, hug your family a little tighter and laugh a little louder. Spend quality time with the kids instead of checking e-mails a hundred times and don't forget to do something nice for yourself each day. Go ahead and indulge in that slice of cake or re-watch a favorite movie. And try to find the pristine moments of each day and savor it. It'll soothe your soul.
Love, peace and joy always...
